Last updated: April 1, 2026. This policy describes the Colourless browser extension and the website at colourless.art.
The extension has a single function: when you click its icon, it opens the Colourless website in a new tab. It does not read or collect your browsing history, page content, passwords, or images. It does not run content scripts on websites you visit and does not transmit data to us or third parties.
When you use Colourless in the browser, image editing and background removal run on your device. We do not ask you to create an account for core use, and we do not use the app to collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email, or postal address.
Machine-learning models used by the app may be downloaded to your browser from third-party infrastructure (for example, model hosting networks) so processing can run locally. That is not the same as uploading your photos to us for storage or training.
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
